Conflikt is a filk music convention. What is filk you ask? According to Wikipedia, “filk is a musical culture, genre, and community tied to science fiction/fantasy fandom.” Sounds awesome right? A whole convention dedicated to sci-fi and fantasy fan music! It’s like fanfic with original musical accompaniment. Awww, yeah. 🙂
There’ll be “concert spots, one-shots, workshops and panels, Dealers Room with plenty of filkish things for you to buy, bardic and chaos circles/ovals/rectangles, Smoked Salmon Filk, Interfilk Auction, and more!” Just register for your membership and you’ll be good to go.
